Starting a new blog, but not leaving this one XD

I have a school project on so have to start a new blog and I might win an ipod XD
I'll put the adress up after the assignment is done, cause.. Have to keep my identity secret! Mwahaha!

Miss Norway, miss my friends.. Does anyone want to come over to Ireland and have a mad night out? The good news is that my mum is coming over in three weeks! I have to show her around and let her see Ireland, she's never been to Ireland before.

Might not be going on an interrail since Egypt is seeming more and more like the place for me. But that's too early to tell allready. I'll find out more about that later. When I do I'll tell you all.
Even though I don't really think anyone reads this. I just write this for fun, and well.. So someone can read it, sometimes...

Ah well, no other news really. Nothing special to talk about so I guess this will be all I'll write for now. I'll keep you up to date.

Love from Ireland!!!

A lot has happened...

A lot has happened during the last weeks.. So I haven't really gotten to write anything.. I like my friends^^ Freshers week was class. "You would play loud music too if you were getting a lapdance at 3 in the morning" XD Class...

Ah I've gotten great friends at school, and school is a lot better with those guys around^^ It's actually fun, it's not just the smyther and the icequeen XD XD

School is weird, but it's good^^ Freshers week really was class.. Quick summarize:
Monday: Party on the green - yay for drinking vodka in class XD
Blackout party to dance again, but had migraine and a big fight started so it finished at twelve:(

Tuesday: Karaoke contest - Dylan made me sing Oo But he ended up winning the whole thing so couldn't be angry with him:P Enden at twelve, but we weren't ready to go home at that time XD
Q bar - Cheering for our teachers and school, dancing like crazy, ended at 02.30
Home at Dylans place - Watching funny youtube videos and drinking is the greates thing ever XD Didn't go to bed till 6 o'clock and had to get up at 8 to go to school XD Hah, Dylan had a hangover!

Wednesday: Freshers ball - Finally the big one! XD A great time, dancing and drinking... Ended at 2.30, after I'd been groped by way too many guys anyways XD Hah weird turkish dancer guy, WE LOVE YOU!
Dylans place - Youtube again XD Drinkin till 6.30 in the morning:P Dylan shotting rum:P Couldn't get up for school thrusday, But it was deffo worth it!!!!

Thursday: Freshers week was over, but we weren't done with the drinkin! So me and Dyl went out... And ended up in this gay bar which was one of the greatest experiences either.. So there we were... 2 Straight people dancing in a gay bar, best thinever... I could dance freely without anyone staring or touchin or whatever... Was worse for Dyl tho XD So we were drinkin there till.. I have no idea when and then.. Back to Dylans place again for youtube and vodka XD XD

Ah yeah so that was that week.. This week has been a little more calmer, if you look away from the fact of Dylan giving out free beer to random students in our college to celebrate him becoming class rep (El presidente) XD Actually it was the beer he won at the karaoke contest, but never went and got that XD

Ah yeah... Good times at gcd XD

First week at school and more

I was supposed to write this last sunday, but haven#t really gotten the time:P We went to the Nickleback consert last Saturday. And it was the. best. consert. ever! I loved it. I think I lost like 3 kilos just jumping and screaming for those hours. It was so great. The crowd went wild from the moment they came on stage and they didn't calm down before the light were turned on again. The explotions deafened me for almost a day and my voice was absolutly ruined!
I have never been to a consert like that and it was great! I wouldn't have missed it for the world. The drummer played this fantastic solo in the middle of the show. I've never seen or heard anything like it. It was so great! As the only girl in the group there was some risk of being crushed under my friends feet, but if anyone hit me or jumped intome I didn't even notice. The best part for me was when they played my favourite song in the end, Figured you out! I went crazy! They went of stage without playing rockstar or figured you out. But the crowd wouldn't leave before they came back and played Rockstar so we got the encore of a life time! It was so great!

I started school monday the 15'th and it was so scary! The first day I didn't meet anyone or do anything. It was just the induction. But the day afterIgot to know somegirls from Dublin and some Norwegian girls. One of them I got to know better than the rest, so I finally had someone to hang with XD So through the next day I hung with her. And on Thursday we had our treasure hunt. During this I was in a group with my new Norwegian friend, a french girl that I got to know really well, a boy from Dublin that I also got to know really well and that told me I can stay in his spare bedroom for freshers week (yay!) and a german boy that I didn't really get to know. Friday we found out that we won the treasure hunt! We were the greatest group ever XD Our reward for winning was that each of us got a gift sertificate for HMV^^ I'm so buying a cd or something next week. On Friday we also got to meet the media faculty, and I found out I was in the wrong group so I had to fix that. I was in ordinary journalism when I'm supposed to be in honours cause I have the grades for it. So I had to get all that fixed, and now I have to get a new student card. School starts properly on monday, I can't wait XD
Saturday I went with Darren to Tullamore and met his friends and his girlfriend. It was a crazy day and alot of pictures were taken. And the weather was sooo great! It was a nice day. And when I got back Lisa and Ian were done moving in, so now I'm not alone in the house anymore. I'll try to be better to keep you updated about what's happening over here in Ireland from now on. But I guess It's time for me to end this blog now, before it becomes too long. I miss all my friends in Norway. And my mum and stephfather too! Right now I'm also missing Mark since he got a job offshore in Norway and will be gone for two more weeks. I'll talk to you later!

Moved in, but still stressing

I won't put out any pictures of the house here yet, but you can find them on my bebo account. They'll soon be put up at facebook too. I've been stressing about school and loans and everything for the last week, and things are first coming together now. Hehe, the worst part was leaving my mother. I miss her so much:( The house is great and I love Ireland, but I really miss my mum.

The people over here are so friendly, and in two days I'm going into Dublin to find my school. And while I'm there I'm going to talk to the international assistant so that I canfind out how to get a visa and everything. Soon I'll actually be able to calmdown.

Watched wrestling till five o'clock in the morning. It was great,Matt Hardy won the belt^^ But so did Jericho, and he so didn't deserve it cause HBK had just beaten him half to death for hitting his wife. It was soo much fun. I love wrestling.

Well time to go now. I'll putout pictures as soon as possible

Miss mammy

I miss my mother! :(

Two days more and I'm out of here!!!!

So now there's only two more days until I move to Ireland, my bags are packed and I'm almost ready to leave, I just have to fill out a form about moving out of the country and then I'll leave norway:P I asked my mum if we could have one of my favourite dishes for dinner one of these days. Homemade pizza or minced meat balls in paprika sauce with homemade mashed potatoes. Yummy^^ I just can't choose!

So now the moving thing has really struck me, I'm moving to Ireland, I'm going to study journalism at Griffith College Dublin. I'm going to move in to my own little house. So many things are happening. Can someone please slap me so that I can find out if I'm dreaming?

So we're moving to Portarlington. I know Marks family and some of his bestfriends, and that's it XD But hey, this is an experience for me. I get to meet new people, create a network that stretches further then just the borders of boring little Haugesund. And I get to grow up, if you can call it growing up when you're still waiting for Peter Pan to come get you and bring you to hid world. But I guess it's time to stop hoping that and start hoping that "grown up-life" won't take away the fun of an imagination and the crazy times you have with friends and family that gives you all those great memories to think of.

I'm starting to feel sad. I don't like leaving my mother behind, We've always been more like friends than mother and daughter. So she's going to be the one I'll miss the most. After her and the rest of my family, my firends come. Lena, Sandra and Kjetil are on the top of the list there. But extreme changes like this doesn't let you bring every part of your life with you, exept for within your heart^^ Time to pack the last bag, talk to you later^^

One week

So Mark came over today^^ To help me move over^^ So now the countdown really starts Oo In one week at this time, I'll be in Ireland. Soon I'm really growing up. I just need to pack for that travel first.. But now I need to spend time with my boyfriend, so I'll update later.

so much to do Oo

I know I said I would tell you all about my trip to Bulgaria:P But well, the only thing we really did do was drink, drink, drink XD It was a lot of fun, almost like a dream. Being there with Mark made it all alot better. But now i've been stressed all the time Oo And the good dream days are over,I'm leaving my safe little haven in Haugesund to go out and explore the new world. I've had the goodbye party with all my friends. I'm almost finished packing the things that will be sent over after I arrive in Ireland. And I said goodbye to my aunt. I just miss packing the things I'm bringing over now, but have to wait till sunday for when Mark comes over. He's coming over to help me bring everything back to Ireland^^
We got ourself a house^^ One of those cute little cottages that you always see in movies. I've always wanted to live in one of those and now my dream comes through^^ School is soon starting:P Yay^^ And Mark is taking the offshore course so that it's easier for him to get a job. We're really growing up here now. I'm looking forward to moving, but at the same time I'm not that happy about leaving my mother. We've always had a really tight connection and now we're going to be in two different countries Oo But she's coming over to visit me and I'll be home for christmas. I said I'd put out a picture from Bulgaria, And I'm going to do that to... There's so much to tell, but I guess I'll just have to write another blog tomorrow and write the rest then. My life is going through a lot of changes, hopefully everything's going to work out fast enough for me to enjoy growing up to XD

Bulgaria soon!

I just can't wait! I'm going to Bulgaria in two days! Around this time on wednesday I'll be waiting at the airport for the plane to take me down to Sunny Beach:P Nothing special has happened for the last week, I've been working at my uncles pizzaria in Sandnes^^ But I don't really know what more to say now and I have to finish packing. When I get back I'll make sure to write about my trip to Bulgaria^^ Maybe, if you're good, I'll put out some pictures to^^

Bye and of to Bulgaria I go!

GCD here I come!

I got accepted to GCD! Leila’s going to Ireland! I’m starting school the 8’Th of September, to study 3 years at Griffith College. After that I’ll have a BA in journalism^^ I’m so happy and exited, there’s so much to be done! I have to get a student loan so I can pay the tuition fee of 9300 euros, and I have to pack.. I can’t bring all my books so I have to get some boxes to store them in. I’ve already cleaned out my closet and thrown away all the clothes that are somewhat ruined and put away some clothes that I can give to the second hand shop in town, Fretex. But there’s still so much to do, and I don’t even have any money saved up for when I’m going over. I’m going to get a part time job over there somewhere so that I can survive… It’s going to be the first time, but after some time things might go smoother.

Mark has been looking around for a house or apartment for us to live in. As I have told you earlier we’re planning to move in with one of Marks friends and his girlfriend, it’s cheaper that way. He just looked at a little cottage with two double bedrooms and a huge garden and everything! It’s in Portarlington where Mark is from, right next to the train station. It takes me approximately an hour to get to Dublin and school with the train from there, but then again it’s a lot cheaper then getting an apartment in Dublin. And another good thing is that the place is near his parents, which is good if we need help of some kind^^ I’ll write more later, right now I can’t even see straight, I’m so happy! I’ll update later tonight!

Update: I just finished applying for a study loan ansd some scolarships. Atleast I've done a little. Hehe^^ Well bed time now^^ Good night, sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite:P

Toefl test! I'm an englisk jinius! XD

I just got my toefl test grades online and I rule! I got a 111 points out of 120! That means that I got way much more than needed to get into Griffith so I am great XD I got right under 30 on each part, reading, writing, listening and speaking^^ So I am a genious. Oh I means jinius XD

The Toefl (Test Of English as a Foreign Language) test is an international english test needed if you're going to study outside of your own country... I took the IBT test (internet-based-test) and feel good about what I got^^ Had to go to Bergen though and pay 800 kr (100 euro) for the test, but it was worth it:D Yay for grades! Now I just have to wait to get the paper version so that I can send this to Griffith too..^^

The kitty update for today is that we got the posters out around the neighbourhood today. So now pictures of the little beauty is everyewhere^^ She's still over at my mothers friend and think she likes it there.. She's getting gourmet food^^ She's luckier than me, but then again she's a little princess^^

Lost little kitty

So something happened today after all... While me and my mum were watching TV this little kitten was dropped into our lap by my stephfather. Apparently the cat had ran past him inside when he opened the door to go out and smoke. She's not old at all... Probably just 8-10 weeks old. She is just so adorable and when me and my mother saw this little creature our heart just melted, we fed it and gave it water but we knew we couldn't keep it because of our own cat. So we went out to look for its owner. After walking a little we ended up at a friend of my mothers to ask him if he knew where the kitten belonged. Sadly he didn't, but luckily he agreed to give the little girl a place to stay until we found out where she belongs. The sad part of this story is that the kitten might not have a home. In these vacation times many people just let their cats out thinking they can fend for themselfes our hoping they will find a new home. We found out that the cat has been out for a few days and has been on many peoples doors over the last two days, atleast, and there's no posters anywhere.

Tomorrow we're going to hang up some posters hoping we can find the owners of this adorable little cat. But if we can't then I think my mothers friend will keep the little angel. Here's the picture we're going to use for the posters.. Isn't she just the cutest thing ever? And she's so happy and loves to play. And she's allready housetrained so we know that she used to have a home anyways. I just love that little spot on her nose^^ I wish I could keep her! But I'm moving to Dublin so I guess I just have to find a cat there:P And people... If you get a cat, please try to keep him inside for a while! He has to get used to your house before he can find his way home! And get your cats marked, there's tons of ways to do this and this makes it easier to find the owner of the cat. If you want to own an animal, like this little cutie under here, make sure your up for the task of taking care of it!

A bob called Peter

Nothing much to say today, just wanted to share with you a picture of my bob:P His name is Peter XD The picture is of me and Mark in Stavanger. It was the last full day we had together before he went back to Ireland. I'll see him again in 17 days. Can't wait!

Now over to my bob called Peter;

Summer lovin'

The sun is out at the temprature is rising! I love it! Today me and Mark met up with lena and had a couple of beers down by the shore. Me with my new bob-like haircut and Mark celebrating his last day of work here in Norway. For now anyways. Tomorrow we're going to Stavanger for a short shopping spree and just to do something special since it's his last day here.

Yeah, Mark's leaving Haugesund on Sunday. He's going back to Ireland for Oxegen, the festival I've been talking about. But luckily I'll see him again really soon because Bulgaria is only a few weeks away. We're leaving for Sunny Beach on the twenty-third pf july (yes I had to write it in letters XD). I just can't wait to go back to Bulgaria again! That's where I first met Mark and all his crazy Irish friends. The sun is shining, the beach is lovely and the alcohol is really cheap! I'm going to have the time of my life (or something else less sappy and used up).

So back to other issues, I'm collecting music for an mp3 player that we're bringing over. This thing has everything and we were thinking of using it for the evenings before we go out. Just to sit down a little and relax with a refreshing beer or something at the balcony. But I'm out of summersongs. If you have any ideas tell me! This is actually my mothers mp3 and she'll be using it for books and stuff to so I don't really want to put anything to rocky into it. But any suggestions are welcome. I NEED HELP!
Thank you for everything, you've been a wonderful audience!

Not on alot because of stupid lap top

I can't really update this blog all the time anymore cause my stupid lap top charger has stopped working and since I can't find the papers I need I have to save up money to buy one instead of getting one for free!

News isn't much. Still looking for a job which isn't going so well. Soon Bulgaria^^ I can't wait! And I think me and my missus have found out how to fix the living arangements when we move to Dublin. Me and Mark are going to move in with another couple, friends of his that I know. And this will make it cheaper and stuff^^ Cheap is good^^ Mark is going to keep working on a rotation in Norway. For example; he'll work two weeks and be home in Ireland for three. It's really well paid and we're going to need the money. I'm going to study to become a journalist at Griffith and I'll find a part time job for evenings and weekends. Who knows, I might have to be a bar maid XD

My toefl grades are still no where to be seen, but today I'm atleast sending the rest of my extra papers over to Ireland. And I'm also going to fix my hair! When I've done this I'll put up a picture here^^ Time for something new, something different than black on the top red underneath. I'll talk to you later ppl! Bah buh

Weird day XD

Ok so yesterday was our last day of school as I told you. So today was just sort of a boring day XD I was cleaning a little and went down town to make a copy of my papers for griffith college and also for work.

And now I just finished playing around with a logo I was making for my boyfriend, him and his friends are going to Oxegen in Ireland this summer and wanted t-shirts so I made a design for the front of the t-shirt which I'm kind of happy with^^ I'll put out a copy here... That's sort of all I have to sayor today, there really wasn't anything else happening.. So now on to my fantastic design XD

Dancing in the rain

I just got back from getting my diplomas and stuff at school. And eventhough it's raining cats and dogs I couldn't be happier. I'm never going back to that God-forsaken place and from now on I can concentrate about the subjects I really want to improve in.

The grades were so and so.. Not really bad, but a little lower than the years before. But what I'm really happy about is my Cambridge exam in youth enterprice where I got a great mark; Credit! The highest one is distinction and credit is the second highest and I'm very happy about that! This is very good if you think about my plans about studying and working abroad. I should really get out of these wet clothes so I'll update later^^

Sleepless in HGSD, talking about feelings

Ok so last day of school today. And I would be happy if it weren’t for the annoying fact that I. CAN’T. SLEEP! We’re allowed to sleep in and I was really hoping to do this, but of course my body decided that it was wide-awake at five in the morning. So since then I’ve been thinking and surfing the web. Mostly I’ve been thinking about the subject feelings. It’s getting more and more unusual to talk about feelings, with anyone really. Why should a girl have to say ”nothing” if she’s moved to tears by a movie?

Some emotions it might seem more “normal” to hide, but it’s still just an emotion. Of course, you should not just go over to someone telling them about how turned on you were last night… But when we’re faced with the question (being turned on or not) it’s suddenly the hardest thing, no pun intended, in the world to do.

Back to the real subject at hand anyways, feelings. Have you ever heard of someone (except some very manly men) who was afraid to tell you that they felt sad while watching a sad movie? Lets say a girl goes to the cinema and cries during the saddest scene of a movie. Where the dog dies saving the little boy from icy water. Which the boy jumped out in after saving his blind, deaf and dumb sister who on the top of this only has one leg. All this because a car accident in which both their parents died shielding their kids (and the dog). Both the girl and the boy both survived by the way. And then the happy, but sad ending where you slowly zoom in on the two kids holding hands over their parents grave thanking them for giving them the chance to live their life. So back to the girl in the cinema... What if she told her friends about her crying, all embarrassed with flushed, pink cheeks and her friends laughed, would this seem normal? No it wouldn’t, would it. Then why does it always seem like people are afraid to show how they feel? How come nobody ever feels like really laughing out loud or singing out his or her joy anymore?

We’re suddenly growing up to fast and what we end up leaving behind is those powerful feelings that we all need to feel. The feeling of being invincible, the feeling of flying when you’re on the swing and of course the feeling that you’ll never be able to stop laughing. Ok so philosophical Leila has said what she wanted to, now enter; Tired Leila! I’m going to try to get another hour or something of sleep. Talk to you later!

Oh, and to top it all off. A parody picture (took me ten sec and looks awfull) of the cover for the sleepless in seattle movie cover. Why, because you're worth it!
Behold my artistic awsomeness! I AM TIRED! Oo

Picture day XD

Because of the project I told you about yesterday I went down town with my best friend today. We were just walking around taing some pictures and catching up. It was actually a lot of fun... But at the end I ended up with the first picture I took of a big mercedes rose.

The day was great^^ A cup of coffee at samson, some food at this pizzeria and a lot of window shopping:P But the end of it I could have been without.. On my way home the weather gods found out they weren't pleased with me and let the sky fall in my head. No fun, no fun at all.

Well here's the picture I ended up with anyways, nothing much. I wanted it simple, and I just love this sort of rose^^ I got the rose from my boyfriend Mark at our ten month anniversary^^

School n' stuff

I wasn’t actually going to start my voyage into the world of blogging until I moved out from my mothers’ basement (yes that does sound pathetic doesn’t it) and all the way over to Dublin. Which is going to be a great experience, for then 19 year old me from a small Norwegian town, studying to become the greatest journalist ever! THEN I’ll be able to write a proper and interesting journal here. Right now my life is just as interesting as a frozen bag of peas. No, a bag of frozen peas probably has more fun than me. With all the freezing and stuff. But right now I’m bored and inspired to write, so…. I decided to start boring you a little earlier than planned.

School is soon over and I couldn’t be happier about this… Well I could, but I don’t think it’s likely that I suddenly win a couple of million euro and end up not having to take up a big loan for school. I’m getting a summer job and everything, hoping this will make my life a little easier. But right now I don’t really have anything to do, so I do as every other abnormal girl with nothing to do during her day off does… I start working on my homework! Don’t worry, I didn’t sit down and start solving difficult mathematic equations. I’m thinking about an idea for what to do in this school assignment for tomorrow. We’re supposed to either; take a picture (keeping in our mind that this is the last picture we can take), or we’re supposed to make the ugliest cd cover ever. ¨I’m going for number one. But what would I take a picture of if it had to be my last ever. And why would it have to be my last one ever? I have no idea what to do, so I’m sitting here, stuffing my face with pizza and hoping that the answer will pop up by itself… It’s going to be a camera day tomorrow anyways.

I should probably stop with these ravings soon I might confuse you. And I have so much to do… Well not really but I have a phone call to make and I have to check if I got my toefl test answers. So, talk to you later!
